**Salary:** In line with Oxfam pay range

Oxfam International is unable to guarantee the obtaining of a work permit for the role. Candidates must already have and be able to retain the legal right to work in the location where they are based. **The Role**

Oxfam in Africa is looking for a highly skilled Strategic Communications Advisor to support the Director’s external engagement and positioning across Africa and globally.

This is a dynamic and high-impact role at the heart of Oxfam’s influencing work. You will shape and deliver strategic communications that amplify the Director’s voice, strengthen Oxfam’s public profile, and advance advocacy priorities on inequality, poverty, and social justice, including drafting compelling content, managing the Director’s media presence, and supporting crisis communications when needed.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Media and Communications colleagues, and partners across the confederation, you will ensure that the Director’s engagements, from global summits to media appearances, are impactful, well-coordinated, and aligned with Oxfam’s strategic goals.
