**Role Description**

Altamont Group (AG) is seeking an experienced **Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS)** to support our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our proposals, and client deliverables, i.e., reports, PPTs, proposals, social media verbiage, website updates, etc. The successful candidate will review content, format, and style to ensure all documents align with client requirements and AG standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with proposal and project teams to maintain high standards across all stages of proposal development and project implementation.

**Key Responsibilities**

- **Quality Assurance (QA) for Proposals:**
- Fully understand the key requirements of the Terms of Reference (TOR) and the client’s requirements for proposals

- Review proposals to ensure compliance with all RFP/TOR requirements, ensuring all necessary sections are included and formatting guidelines are adhered to

- Ensure key messages and technical language are clear, concise, and consistent throughout the proposal

- Review proposal documents for grammatical errors, clarity, consistency, and validate financial figures, technical content, and data accuracy

- Ensure the technical approach, methodology, and work plan are logical, feasible, and clearly articulated

- Follow the steps/processes laid out in the Proposal Daily Progress Sheet and meet proposal deadlines

- Promptly address any revisions required to ensure proposals meet quality standards and client expectations

- **Quality Assurance (QA) for Documents/Deliverables:**

- Conduct comprehensive reviews of client deliverables, e.g., evaluation reports, research reports, etc. to ensure alignment with client requirements and AG quality standards

- Edit documents, including reports, and presentations, to ensure content is aligned with client requirements and documents have correct grammar, spelling, and formatting, as well as are consistent

- Validate the accuracy and relevance of data, figures, and references in reports and proposals

- Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or areas of improvement in deliverables and coordinate with project teams to address them

- Ensure all client deliverables meet expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, and alignment with project objectives

- Proactively address potential quality issues to mitigate client dissatisfaction or rework

- Ensure all deliverables align with AG’s protocols, standards, templates, and branding guidelines

- **Quality Assurance (QA) for Social Media Content:**

- Review and revise social media verbiage o Review and revise website verbiage

- Review social media posts to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to AG’s branding and tone of voice

- Ensure all social media content aligns with AG’s communication strategy and engagement goals

- Verify factual accuracy, grammar, spelling, and formatting in social media captions, posts, and other digital content

- Collaborate with content creators and the social media team to enhance message effectiveness and audience engagement

- **Quality Assurance (QA) Process Improvement:**



- Develop and refine quality assurance processes to ensure efficiency and consistency

- Implement best practices for reviewing and approving documents, reports, and proposals


**Required Skills and Experiences**

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Research, Quality Management, or a related field Proven experience in the humanitarian/development sectors

- Expertise with document development and review with exceptional attention to detail

- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies, particularly for proposal and document development

- Ability to analyze and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency

- Familiarity with research and evaluation processes

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and project management software

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure

- Ability to manage deadlines efficiently

- Exceptional Western English writing/editing abilities

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- Flexible attitude toward receiving feedback

- Must be resident in India, to align with required time zones
