Project Officer

Tearfund is seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Officer to join our Iraq team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting humanitarian action, driving high-quality project implementation, and building collaborative relationships with partners to help transform lives in alignment with Tearfund's Country Strategy for Iraq.

The Project Officer will collaborate with consortium partners, the Programme Quality Director and Project manager to design, assess, and monitor projects.

**The ideal candidate will have:**

- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as development, social sciences, or humanitarian work.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role (support, coordination, or humanitarian/development work), including exposure to reporting, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrable experience with Prevention of Violence against Women and Girls projects.
- Proven project cycle management experience, including strategic planning, capacity development, budgeting, reporting, and monitoring & evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with a variety of stakeholders and sharing learning.
- Prior experience with international humanitarian organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
