International Peace Worker (f/m/d) for the German Civil Peace Service based in Uganda / Kampala

The **Centre for Training and Networking in Nonviolent Action – KURVE Wustrow** was founded in 1980 with the aim of turning concerns about violent conflict, environmental degradation and social injustice into conscious nonviolent action.
KURVE Wustrow conducts trainings, workshops and events in the field of civil, nonviolent conflict transformation in Germany and abroad. We send International Peace Workers as part of the “Civil Peace Service” (CPS) to selected conflict regions. For this purpose, KURVE Wustrow is closely cooperating with partner organisations in the Balkans, Ukraine, Sudan, West -, South - and Southeast Asia. Further focal points of our work include our commitment to climate and resource protection and against nuclear energy.

For our CPS programme *“Strengthening Sudanese civil society through addressing past violence and fostering social cohesion”* we are looking for an **International Peace Worker (f/m/d) based in Uganda / Kampala (38,5 hours/week)**

**These are your tasks:**

As an international Peace Worker you will provide parallel support to our multiple Sudanese partner organisations operating from Uganda/ the Sudanese Diaspora in Uganda in the fields of ***Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) as well as Conflict Transformation Strategy.***

- You support partner organizations establishing PMEL systems that enable evidence-based adaptation and strengthen learning capacities: such as the partners’ reflection on people-driven nonviolent change processes, systematic assessment of outcomes and the implementation of planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning tools.
- You support the partner organisations in their financial and narrative reporting as well as regular communication with the CPS country coordination and the KURVE Wustrow main office.
