**Mission**

Geneva Call is a neutral and impartial non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting respect by Armed Groups, De Facto Authorities (AGDAs) and Provisional Governments for international humanitarian norms, in particular those related to the protection of civilians. Geneva Call focuses its efforts on banning the use of anti-personnel mines, protecting children from the effects of armed conflict, prohibiting sexual violence in armed conflict, working towards the elimination of gender discrimination, protecting civilian infrastructure, and ensuring humanitarian access.

**Role**

Under the guidance of the Country Director, the finance coordinator works to ensure the efficient management of finance and accounting services for Geneva Call, including cash flows, payments, reporting and compliances on finance and accounting matters.

**Work Relations**

The finance coordinator reports to the Country Director and works closely with other members of the finance and support team in country and the finance team in HQ.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

- Maintain accurate and timely financial accounting records, including processing payments, receipts, payroll, accruals, advances, bank and cash transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring all transactions are recorded in the accounting system in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Support financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes, including the preparation and monitoring of project and country budgets, cash flow forecasts, monthly Budget vs. Actual (BvA) reports, financial analyses, and month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with HQ deadlines.
