**Lifting Hands International** is looking for a motivated and practical **Volunteer Logistics Assistant** in Greece to support the day-to-day operations of our centre, apartments, warehouse, and freeshop.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and learning new practical skills in a dynamic environment.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

**About Us**

Lifting Hands International operates a community center in Serres, a small city about an hour from Thessaloniki in Northern Greece. We work with a population of 1000+ refugees & asylum seekers at the local camps, providing regular aid distributions and a range of psychosocial support programs.

**Main Responsibilities**

You will work closely with the Logistics Manager and support across several areas:

- Maintenance and basic repairs in apartments and the Centre
- Bikes inventory and would involve, leading regular bike shift with other volunteers and facilitating the bike workshop on field.

- Supporting the running and organisation of the Freeshop

- Helping in the warehouse with stock movement, organisation, and upkeep

- Occasional field support when needed

- General practical support across logistics operations

**What we’re looking for**

- Some experience using basic tools (or strong willingness to learn)
- A valid driving licence

- Enthusiasm to learn practical skills such as:

- Basic electrical work

- Plumbing

- Small engine or mechanical repairs

- General handyman tasks

- A proactive, reliable, and hands-on attitude

- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
