Rehabilitation Assistant - Syria Idleb "Syrian Nationals Only”

**General Description of the Programme:**

GOAL has been working in Syria since 2013, responding to the acute needs of conflict-affected communities. GOAL is working in Idleb Governate, both through direct implementation and through partners, delivering food, non-food programming to highly vulnerable populations, and provision of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) through support to Water units, as well as emergency support to recently displaced households.

GOAL has been working in North Aleppo Governate since 2019, through direct implementation and through partners, delivering food, non-food programming to highly vulnerable populations, as well as emergency support for recently displaced households.

**Job purpose:**

The Rehabilitation Assistant will be responsible for monitoring the rehabilitation and construction activities, conduct quality checks and follow up on a daily basis with the contractor, contractor representatives, beneficiaries on any quality or safety-related issue, in addition to carrying out needs’ assessments, prepare the Topographic studies, technical studies, technical evaluations, and project documentation.

**Duties, objectives** **and competencies**

- Contribute in collecting data during need’s assessments, baseline studies and periodic studies, and feedback findings to the stakeholders for Rehabilitation interventions.
- Collect information needed for technical assessments, Engineering studies and designs for various Shelter and infrastructure activities in shelter units, collective shelters, or construction sites within communities.
- carry out the topographic survey activities for the infrastructure for the communities.
- Conduct field visits to carryout site studies and mapping activities.
- Participation in the preparation of the study of engineering and detailed plans for the parts of the project in different locations and technical conditions books and specifications.
- Report any issues faced during the implementation of activiti
