A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen within UNICEF Mali Country Office for a passionate and committed Deputy Representative, Operations at the P-5 level. The Deputy Representative Operations serves as a core member of the senior management team, acting as a strategic partner to the Representative and Deputy Representative Programmes in ensuring the effective, efficient, and compliant management of country office. The role also strengthens internal controls, promotes a culture of accountability and service excellence, and enables evidence-based decision-making, thereby supporting the Representative in achieving organizational objectives and maximizing impact at country level. Further, the role provides leadership and oversight of the operations function – covering administration budget, finance, digital impact, supply chain, and risk management while aligning Operations management with Programme delivery focusing on programmatic priorities.

By leading multiple cross-functional teams, the Deputy Representative Operations drives integrated planning, resource optimization, risk management and performance monitoring, ensuring that systems, processes and people are positioned to deliver results.
