Public Finance Consultant, Remote + Travel, #593443

UNICEF and the World Bank, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP), seek to engage a national public finance consultant. The consultant will work closely with the national social protection consultant, representatives from MoGCSP (including the National Social Protection Coordinator), the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, UNICEF, and the World Bank to implement the assignment.

Under the overall supervision of Chief Social Policy, Planning, and Monitoring, UNICEF Liberia, the Public Finance consultant will provide technical support in fiscal space analysis, budget review, costing of the National Social Protection Policy and Strategy (NSPSS), and development of a financing plan. The consultant will also provide support to the education sector by reviewing the budget for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and presenting the findings to key stakeholders, including legislators and traditional leaders.
