Full Description
To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Assisting with the development and implementation of strategies to recruit, publicize, and retain volunteers through targeted outreach, partnerships, and promotional initiatives. Assisting in developing and preparing operating budget requests in support of MWR fitness and recreational programs for submission through established channels. Assisting in serving as a technical authority for MWR wellness and recreation programs by applying knowledge of recreation management concepts, policies, and procedures to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of program activities. Providing technical and administrative support for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) installation meetings, including Non-Appropriated Fund Advisory Boards, morale committee meetings, and related working groups. Assisting in providing technical and administrative support in developing, maintaining, and managing record keeping systems used to track equipment maintenance schedules, service histories, and program performance metrics.
