Nutrition Emergency Consultant – Conflict Response, Pemba, Mozambique/ Child health and nutrition , 4.5 MONTHS (NATIONAL only, office based with travel)

UNICEF proposes a short-term assignment (April–September 2026), 180 working days, extendable based on need and funding availability) to reinforce lifesaving nutrition support, particularly in priority districts of Cabo Delgado and Nampula provinces, and strengthen emergency nutrition response capacity as the operational context evolves.
The consultant will support the effective management, coordination, and monitoring of UNICEF’s nutrition emergency interventions in Cabo Delgado and Nampula, ensuring integrated programming, strong partner engagement, and full compliance with USG OCHA grant requirements. The role will reinforce structured coordination with cluster partners, promote adherence to national nutrition protocols and humanitarian standards, and ensure accountable, high quality delivery of life saving nutrition services to affected populations.
