The purpose of this consultancy is to strengthen UNICEF South Sudan’s Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) systems through the establishment of practical, harmonized, and community-centered feedback and engagement mechanisms that support meaningful participation of affected populations in programme design, implementation, monitoring, and decision-making, adaptive programming, social accountability, evidence generation, and improved responsiveness to community concerns and priorities.

The consultant will support the development of an integrated and operational AAP framework aligned with UNICEF global commitments, inter-agency standards, and national coordination mechanisms.
