UNICEF Sudan operates in a highly complex humanitarian and development environment characterized by conflict, displacement, access constraints, and institutional disruption. In this context, timely, reliable, and actionable data is essential for effective programme design, humanitarian response, advocacy, and accountability for results for children. To strengthen evidence-based decision-making, UNICEF Sudan has established an Information Management (IM) Hub within the PRIME Section. The IM Hub serves as a centralized platform for data integration, analytics, digital innovation, and decision support, enabling interoperable, results-oriented information systems across programmes and sectors.

The Information Management Specialist will be a key member of the information management hub and will provide technical leadership for the development of integrated information management systems for Situation and Humanitarian Performance Monitoring (HPM) within UNICEF Sudan. The NOC IM Specialist will work  under the general supervision of the Monitoring Manager in close collaboration with  Chief PRIME.
