**IRC Background:** The mission of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future. Founded in 1933, the IRC has a presence in over 40 countries and 27 offices in the United States; the IRC leads the way from harm to home. IRC operates in Washington and Montana provides a continuum of services including intensive case management, employment and economic empowerment services, immigration assistance, health and wellness programming, and education support to refugee and immigrant families in Washington State. IRC Washington & Montana is committed to providing trauma-informed, equitable, and accessible services and maintaining and evolving a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace.

**Job Overview:** In partnership with program, finance, and development teams in both Seattle, Spokane, and Missoula, the Grants Team works to leverage public and private funding opportunities through prospecting, proposal development, grants, and subaward contract management. IRC WA & MT’s grant portfolio supports more than 10 program areas and includes over 100 funding streams. The Senior Grants Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing the full range of pre- and post-award activities required to prepare concept notes, proposals, and budgets, comply with internal approval processes, and align with compliance requirements of public agencies, private foundations, and other funders. Work is performed in collaboration with senior leadership, finance, programs, as well as HQ’s technical assistance teams and awards and business development units.

This position supervises a Grants Administrator and reports to the Sr. Manager, Development & Strategic Engagement.
