GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST
Full Description
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience demonstrating knowledge of specific DOD and Navy Supply chain operations, organizations, relationships, and responsibilities; Experience applying core material and supply principles as well as shipyard specific (Navy, DLA, DOD) supply chain and material policies, procedures, and regulations with demonstrated ability to interpret/translate same. Experience in material management program planning at the shipyard level, and skill in developing and/or implementing procedures and practices to efficiently support use of material. Experience independently analyzing and resolving difficult issues involving material management processes, work methods, supply data management, and/or day-to-day industrial supply chain operations.
Experience providing collaborative/technical advice and guidance to supply depots or activity distribution centers concerning distribution and storage operations or related operating requirements. Experience utilizing advanced skill and experience in all aspects of project management (including but not limited to resource management, budget, schedule, and performance). Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying supply operations and/or general supply program management.
