**Project Summary**

Tetra Tech is providing energy expertise and related technical and material assistance to the Government of Ukraine. This project focuses on enhancing the resilience, reliability, affordability, and security of the electricity, natural gas, and district heating sectors. The scope of work includes addressing immediate challenges and physical damage to energy infrastructure, as well as preparing for Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and long-term energy security.

**Position Summary**

Tetra Tech is recruiting an **Energy Legal & Commercial Expert** who will support efforts to facilitate private sector investment and mobilize international capital in Ukraine’s energy and related infrastructure sectors. The expert will provide comprehensive legal, regulatory, and commercial advisory services, ensuring that legal frameworks, market governance practices, and project structuring mechanisms align with international best practices and investor requirements. Working closely with the Legal and Regulatory Lead and collaborating with the Financial and Economic Team within the Specialized Advisory Services (SAS) unit, this role will help identify and address legal, regulatory, and commercial barriers to investment, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and advance Ukraine’s integration with competitive energy markets. This person will report to the Legal and Regulatory Lead.
