Poverty and Equity Global Practice The Poverty and Equity Global Practice, which is a part of the Prosperity Practice Group, plays a central role in advancing the World Bank Group’s mission to end extreme poverty on a livable planet. The Global Practice uses the latest evidence and analysis to help governments develop sound policies that help the poorest in every country and focus our investments in areas that are critical to improving lives.
