Full Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Execution and administration of complex, multi-million-dollar federal acquisitions, and utilization of a comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to oversee the entire procurement lifecycle from acquisition planning through closeout. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Evaluating the reasonableness of the contractor's proposed cost/price for use in preparing for complex negotiations; 2) Preparing for negotiations / discussions / awards by reviewing audit and technical reports, performing cost and/or price analysis (or reviewing price analysts' reports), and developing renegotiation post negotiate terms and conditions (including price) based on the pre-negotiation objective and give-and-take with the offer or to establish fair and reasonable price; 3) Managing programs and fostering an environment that administers all resources in a manner that instills public trust while accomplishing the mission; 4) Identifying and analyzing problems by weighing relevance and accuracy of information; seeking and evaluating alternative perspectives/solutions; making timely and effective recommendations based on potential implications of findings or conclusions.
