ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (Title 32)

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Work involves account maintenance, clerical, and accounting technician support positions requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems, policies, and procedures in performing or supervising the examination, verification, and maintenance of accounts and accounting data. Also includes work to perform technical audit functions, develop or install revised accounting procedures, or perform similar quasi-professional accounting.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-08 - 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training of total accounting procedures. Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating work to resolve problems that occur.
