**Job Highlight** Provide strategic leadership and overall management for the Energy Transition Partnership (ETP), focusing on strategy implementation, resource mobilization, and maintaining strong relationships with funders and government partners. **About the Region** The Asia Pacific Regional Office, based in Bangkok, Thailand, provides strategic leadership and oversight for UNOPS operations across 17 countries, ensuring high performance, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational goals. Operations currently span Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Pacific Islands. Across these countries, we work closely with key stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and maximize impact through five main operating units: Afghanistan (AFCO), Myanmar (MMCO), South Asia Multi-Country Office (SAMCO), East Asia and Pacific Multi-Country Office (EAPMCO), and the Asia Regional Health Cluster (ARHC). Through these entities, we provide agile, client-focused service delivery across diverse sectors - including infrastructure, health, procurement, and project management - supporting the implementation of sustainable development solutions across the region. **About the Country/Multi-Country Office** The East Asia and Pacific Multi-Country Office (EAPMCO), headquartered in Bangkok, supports UNOPS operations across 24 countries in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and the Pacific. Established in January 2023, EAPMCO provides strategic direction, operational support, and quality assurance to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects across its portfolio. EAPMCO implements initiatives in priority areas such as energy transition, climate change, and sustainable development, drawing on UNOPS' core expertise in human resources, procurement, infrastructure, fund management, and programme management. **Job Specific Context** The ETP Director, is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the ETP team, established under UNOPS,  as well as for the development and implementation of its strategy,  in line with the strategic direction provided by the ETP Steering Committee (SC) which consists of its funders The ETP Director leads resource mobilisation efforts and manages strategic relationships with ETP Funders and Partners. The Director reports to the co-Chairpersons of the SC on substantive matters and maintains an operational  and administrative reporting line to the UNOPS MCO Director. The ETP team, hosted within UNOPS and operating under the authority of the ETP Director, supports the Director and facilitates the implementation of the Steering Committee decisions. The team operates in accordance with a mandate and budget approved by the SC and is responsible for project development and implementation and fund management. **Role Purpose** The ETP Director is responsible for ensuring that the ETP team  coordinates action across the overall programme and all activities implemented under its mandate. The Director provides strategic leadership, oversees planning and implementation, leads resource mobilisation efforts, and maintains excellent working relationships with funders and government partners. In addition, the Director is responsible for executing the ETP mandate and for reporting to the Steering Committee on programme results and performance and accounting for the use of funds. **Functions / Key Results Expected** Under the supervision of the UNOPS MCO Director and reporting to the co-Chairpersons of the SC on substantive matters, the ETP Director will be responsible for the following key functions: • Stakeholder Management • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based working relationships with the  Steering Committee and funders, Governments, current and prospective partners, and other key stakeholders. A top priority is to ensure current funders stay engaged with and continue to fund ETP. • Lead and coordinate ETP communications with stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective information sharing on programme results, progress and opportunities/risks. • Provide strategic advice to partners on issues that may affect the achievement of intended outcomes, proactively identifying and addressing potential constraints. • Ensure effective information flow and coordination between the Programme Steering Committee, the UNOPS MCO Director, and the UNOPS programme team. • Represent ETP and UNOPS at external events, forums, and high-level meetings, promoting ETP objectives and strengthening partnerships. • Represent ETP within the UNOPS MCO Senior Management Team (SMT) to support alignment and coordination. • Oversee ETP  performance and achievement of results • Oversee the ETP team in the implementation of approved plans, delivery of the programme’s outputs, and initiate corrective action where necessary. • Authorize and monitor individual projects to be deliv
