**Acted PSEAH Policy:**
The FSL Project Assistant has the responsibility to adhere to the PSEAH Policy (Protection against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment). FSL Senior Project Officer has the obligation to complete all mandatory trainings related to the Code of Conduct and the PSEA policy and report any safeguarding concern such as breaches of organisational policies or codes of conduct according to Acted’s procedures. **JOB PURPOSE**
Under the supervision of WASH and SNFI program officer, the WASH and SNFI project assistant is responsible for implementing WASH and shelter programs/interventions undertaken by ACTED especially in Raqqa. The activities include rehabilitating of WASH and productive assets
The WASH activities include rehabilitating water sanitation, WASH facilities in public institute and collective centres, sewage networks, water station, water tracking, hygiene promotion.
While the productive assets include (e.g bakeries, silos, mills, etc.)
The WASH and SNFI PA is working with the WASH and SNFI technical team and PO and DPM, follow-up field implementation and ensuring high-quality construction The WASH and SNFI PA will be based in Al Raqqa base.

**OBJECTIVES**
Under the supervision of the project officer, WASH and SNFI PA is responsible for participate/lead BOQ production, preparing reports, following up project implementation in the field and evaluating the technical work of contractors and participate/supports WASH/shelter departments.
He / She will be joining a motivated, supporting, and skilled WASH and Shelter team in expansion, currently supervising diverse projects in Raqq and Deir Ezzor governorate.,
Activities include mainly mechanical components of:
• Irrigation and water station rehabilitation
• Water networks rehabilitation, and irrigation canal
• Sanitation facilities (Wastewater treatment plant, Wastewater networks rehabilitation, drainage network rehabilitation, sewage network rehabilitation)
• Rehabilitation of Productive assets (e.g bakeries, silos and mills)
• Any other aspects of the projects related activities
He/she will also be responsible for ensuring best practices and lessons learned are implemented and oversight of project cycle management.
Accountability to Communities and Beneficiaries
The WASH and SNFI PO is responsible for ensuring that all relations with the communities with which we work are conducted in a respectful and consultative manner. Due attention must be paid to ensuring that communities are adequately consulted and informed about ACTED program objectives, activities, and methodologies. This is the responsibility of every ACTED staff member.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Under the supervision of the ***WASH and SNFI PO/Sr PO, WASH and SNFI PM/DPM***.
***WASH and SNFI PA*** responsibilities include:
1. ***General responsibilities**:*
1. Supervision on implementation of rehabilitation projects (Water station, irrigation stations, irrigation canal, water network, sewage networks,).and ensure quality of implementation.
1. Supervision on implementation of rehabilitation productive assets activities (bakeries silos and mills,)….and ensure quality of implementation.
2. Support projects regarding the rehabilitation of Wash and SNFI projects.
3. Participate/lead and conduct needed assessments for activities with the team.
4. Participate/lead BOQ for all activities and ensure the quality.
5. Participate/lead documents of activity (MOU, assessment, approvals) and communicate with related authorities.
6. Supervision on implementation of rehabilitation projects (Health centers, , WASH facilities in public institutes ...).
7. Participate in identifying best practices and lessons learned.
8. Work with the WASH and SNFI PO and Project Manager to ensure proper documentation and evidence base.
9. Regularly following up with the IPs and ACTED project engineers and others as required to ensure high quality, timely, for activities implementation.
10. Follow up timelines for rehabilitation, managing contractors and daily laborers to achieve timely and quality rehabilitations.
11. Demonstrates proactivity, suggesting ways to better support and enhance ACTED’s rehabilitation activities.

1. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain the relevant project records.
Collect, organize, and share photos of program implementation; categorize before- and after photos of activities to support ACTED’s evidence base and measurement of impact.
**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**
- 80% success rate of conduct clear BOQs
- 100% of follow-up activity is implemented in a timely manner.
- 90% Of reports submitted in a timely manner about activities progress.
- 100% Of tasks achieved with requested quality
- 100% Follow up ACTED’s code of conduct
## **QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with NGO- WASH and Productive assets rehabilitation, experience in Acted is advantage
- Minimum of 1 years of previous experience with INGOs
- Good Microsoft computer skills
- Good in English and fluent in Arabic (spoken and written)
- Ability to travel locally and regionally, if necessary
