Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Assisting with developing or implementing security assessments, procedures, standards, or protective measures to safeguard personnel, facilities, assets, or classified information in accordance with Federal security requirements; Supporting Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) duties, contract oversight, or contractor coordination activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, security standards, and operational objectives; Coordinating with Emergency Medical Services (EMS), emergency response, or public safety stakeholders to support compliance with Agency, Federal, State, or local policies and regulations. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Designing, developing, or implementing security assessments, procedures, standards, or protective measures to safeguard personnel, facilities, assets, or classified information in accordance with Federal security requirements; Performing Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) duties, contract oversight, or contractor coordination activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, security standards, and operational objectives; Managing, overseeing, or coordinating Emergency Medical Services (EMS), emergency response, or public safety programs to ensure compliance with Agency, Federal, State, or local policies and regulations.
