**Job Highlight**
A pessoa selecionada trabalhará como consultor/a, majoritariamente em regime de home-office, entretanto, pode ser requerida sua presença em reuniões presenciais, em Brasília, ou o acompanhamento de visitas técnicas em cidades onde o UNOPS mantém projetos. Ademais, a pessoa selecionada deverá participar de reuniões virtuais, que serão agendadas com antecedência.
The selected candidate will work as a consultant, primarily from home; however, their presence may be required at in-person meetings in Brasília, or to accompany technical visits to cities where UNOPS maintains projects. Furthermore, the selected candidate will be expected to participate in virtual meetings, which will be scheduled in advance.

Com sede no Brasil, o Escritório Multi-País do UNOPS para o Cone Sul (SCMCO) também supervisiona operações na Argentina, Paraguai e Uruguai, apoiando prioridades nacionais e metas de desenvolvimento em toda a sub-região.
Na Argentina, o UNOPS fortalece as instituições públicas ao fornecer assistência técnica em planejamento, aquisições e supervisão de projetos de infraestrutura — particularmente em edifícios públicos — e ao desenvolver capacidades em compras públicas, com foco em inovação tecnológica.
No Brasil, onde o UNOPS atua desde 2012, o escritório colabora com agências da ONU, instituições financeiras e órgãos governamentais em todos os níveis para entregar serviços em saúde, educação, urbanização, reabilitação social, PPPs e fortalecimento institucional. O UNOPS desempenhou um papel fundamental na resposta à pandemia de COVID-19 e gerencia atualmente 17 projetos ativos no país.
