**THE MERIEUX FOUNDATION**
The Mérieux Foundation has been working in the field of global health since its creation in 1967. With a public utility status, it specialises in the fight against infectious diseases, particularly among vulnerable populations in resource-limited countries.
Our mission is divided into four priority objectives:
- Increase access to diagnosis for vulnerable populations
- Strengthen applied research in the field and the development of collaborative programmes,
- Develop knowledge sharing and public health initiatives,
- Take action for mothers and children through a comprehensive approach to health.
We operate directly in more than 25 countries in Asia, Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean, working closely with local actors, which allows us to adapt our programmes and actions to the realities on the ground and the needs of the populations.
Joining us means becoming part of a team of nearly 150 employees in 16 countries, united by common values: international solidarity, commitment, expertise and collaboration.
