**About United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants** The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), established in 1911, is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit international organization dedicated to addressing the needs and rights of refugees and immigrants. **About the REDII Bridges of Life Program** The REDII Bridges of Life Project is an initiative of USCRI El Salvador, implemented in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, aimed at supporting the sustainable reintegration of returned migrants through technical-vocational training, psychosocial support, and employment or entrepreneurship opportunities. Through a comprehensive approach, the program identifies each participant’s immediate needs and connects them with essential services, including access to legal documentation, temporary financial assistance, and personalized case support. Over its 10 years of implementation, the program has supported more than 1,200 Salvadorans in their return process, strengthening their skills, promoting economic self-sufficiency, and reducing risk factors associated with repeated migration. **About the Internship** The internship program at USCRI El Salvador seeks individuals with a strong social commitment and interest in contributing to the reintegration process of returned migrants. Interns will work directly with the technical team of the REDII Bridges of Life Project in different areas, depending on their interests, academic background, and professional skills. **Areas of Support and Responsibilities** Responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned area and may include: **1. General Support** - Assisting in the implementation and follow-up of project activities. - Supporting data collection and information systematization related to participants. - Assisting with training sessions and technical vocational workshops. **2. Communications** - Preparing informational materials, success stories, and progress reports. - Supporting coordination of events, training, and community meetings. - Providing photographic documentation and assisting with institutional social media content. **Profile** - Completed bachelor's degree in international relations, Social Work, Psychology, Migration, or related studies. - Fluency in Spanish. - Experience in work, volunteer, or internship roles within organizations or areas related to migration, human rights, or vulnerable populations is desirable. - Effective communication and active listening. - Flexibility and adaptability. **Internship Specifications** - Full-time, in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. (Six months). - Start on July 01 - Unpaid internship - Housing is provided. - Medical coverage or international student insurance is required
