GRADE REQUIREMENT: This is NOT a promotion. Applicant MUST currently be at the grade level advertised. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. For the GS-14: Must currently hold a GS-14 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience related to the duties listed in this announcement as well as have experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities below: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
