To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess experience equivalent to Pay Band FV-H/FG-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Experience with installation and modification of electronic equipment and mechanical systems. Equipment may include equipment related to radar systems, navigational aid equipment such as lighted and distance measuring equipment, communication systems such as radio/microwave communications Use of RF transmission line test equipment using an Anritsu Analyzer or equivalent. Required to test and interpret results of fiber optic cable condition and loss using an Optical Time Domain Refractometer and Optical Loss Test Set. Experience in RF coaxial cable installation, including termination and testing. RF Sweep testing, PIM (Passive Intermodulation Testing), Antenna propagation validation via Spectrum Analyzer/Oscilloscope Experience in project & construction scoping including RF installations, Tower modifications & New Site Builds (NSB), UHF/VHF cable plant and antenna systems. Underground and aerial Fiber/Electrical installations, raw-land tower sites & shelter/equipment room prep and modernizations, Fiber/Telco backhaul design, DC low voltage power delivery, tower modifications and build feasibility analysis Narratives for Demonstrated Abilities are Mandatory.
