Full Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying complex contracting regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, NMCARS) to develop acquisition strategies, conduct pre-award certification surveys (such as MSRA/ABR), and manage the full contract lifecycle. Experience utilizing cost and price analysis techniques to evaluate contractor proposals, analyze accounting systems, and develop robust pre-negotiation positions. Experience managing contract technical performance and interpreting complex contractual issues to resolve disputes, process claims, and negotiate Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs). Experience leading negotiations with contractors while demonstrating an extensive understanding of business operations, production processes, and estimating methods. Experience advising internal and external stakeholders through clear oral presentations and drafting concise official documents, such as negotiation memorandums, business clearances, and Contracting Officer's Final Decisions.
