Full Description

You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 11 grade level in the Federal service: Ability to perform detailed analyses to resolve complex administrative issues and problems related to government purchase card programs, or other support functions, systems, and day-to-day operations. Experience with purchasing regulations, methods, and procedures for making purchases with specialized or complex requirements. Experience in budgeting procedures, including preparing annual budget estimates, creating monthly expenditure reports, and maintaining budget status records to prevent over-obligation. Knowledge of contract administration to monitor and evaluate contractor performance against contractual requirements, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality control of provided products and services. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
