Full Description

This contract will support essential pilot projects to enhance and modernize the ImmPort repository. The pilot projects will specifically help further advance immunology research development and novel data integration and retrieval methods. One project will promote the adoption of Common Data Elements (CDE) by the immunology research community to enhance data interoperability and consistency, facilitating aggregation and reuse. ImmPort, as one of the largest open repositories of immunology data, is uniquely positioned to promote CDE adoption through integration into its shared data and will demonstrate scientific value via case studies.

Another pilot project will test the feasibility of developing specific domain nodes in a Data Mesh for AI-Assisted Immunology Research by integrating with external data and computing infrastructures. The team will enhance Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for secure access and interoperability, demonstrating use cases for AI-assisted reproducibility of immune response patterns.
