Purchasing Agent/Team Lead

To qualify at the GS-10 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Purchasing commercial and non-commercial services, supplies, and maritime/naval engineering repair products for a federal or defense organization. Implementing simplified acquisition procedures by utilizing various methods of solicitation and various methods of purchase. Performing price analysis, reviewing independent government cost estimates (IGCE), validating market research, and selecting appropriate FAR clauses (including commercial item tailoring under FAR Part 12) to ensure audit-defensible awards. Guiding or mentoring procurement personnel through regulatory transitions, managing workload distribution, and performing quality control on simplified commercial contract files.
