Introduction
Invitation to Submit an Offer for Local Individual Consultant (IC) - Local- Engineering Roster for Climate‑Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure Development
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Timor‑Leste is initiating a process to establish a national roster of qualified engineering professionals under the Individual Contractor (IC) modality. This roster will enable UNDP to efficiently mobilize Local engineering expertise on an as‑needed basis to support the planning, design, implementation, and supervision of infrastructure and construction‑related activities aligned with climate resilience, sustainability, and national development priorities.
UNDP therefore hereby invite interested and qualified individuals to submit an offer for this assignment.
Country: Timor-Leste
Period of assignment/services: The assignment will be established as a local roster for a period of three (3) years, subject to satisfactory performance and UNDP requirements. Engineers included in the roster will be engaged on a short‑term, intermittent, and as‑needed basis under the Individual Contractor (IC) modality.
Specific contract durations, level of effort, and deliverables will be defined through individual lump‑sum or time‑based contracts issued for each assignment, depending on the nature and scope of the required services.
Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements. Should you require further clarifications, kindly communicate using the messaging functionality in the system. Offers must be submitted directly in the system following this link: http://supplier.quantum.partneragencies.orghttp://supplier.quantum.partneragencies.org/ using the profile you may have in the portal.
