The Center’s Head Office is located in Amman.

SRD Center is preparing to conduct a market analysis study for selected value chains in Syria. It will serve to provide insights on the current market situation and identify potential market opportunities and challenges for the sector at the domestic level considering market demand currently unmatched by local production. This analysis aims at obtaining initial information on market size, characteristics and consumer trends, with a focus on agriculture products.

SRD Center invites caseworkers, social workers, data collators with experience in market analysis and have a good technical understanding and experience in relation to data collection activities and techniques.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Applicants are expected to:

· Gather data for the project through one-to-one interviews using online questionnaires (Tablets and KoBo Software).

· Participate fully in the training of selected enumerators leading to participation in the main fieldwork

· Take care of all materials relating to the training and the conduct of the main fieldwork.

· Perform other tasks related to the fieldwork that may be assigned by the Panel Project team during the period

**Minimum Requirements:**

1. Minimum of a Bachelor degree, preferred field of study: English language, Computer Science, or social sciences.
2. Experience in doing face-to-face interviews.
3. Maturity required for driving the discussion with senior management in companies in distribution, and retails segments of the value chains, support service providers or other stakeholders, including medium to high-level Government officials
4. Knowledge of quality requirements in the horticulture and livestock value chains
5. MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.
6. MUST POSSESS EXCELLENT SKILLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
7. Must have excellent communication skills.
8. Must have previous “computer assisted” field data collection experience.
9. Willingness to travel and work in target regions or live in one of these regions.
