Conference: Southeastern Analysis Meeting

The Southeastern Analysis Meeting (SEAM) is a conference to be held at the University of Richmond (Richmond, Virginia) on the weekend of March 13 - 15, 2026. The SEAM has been held annually at a university in the southeastern United States since 1985. It has established itself as a leading national venue for mathematical analysis, with a mission of facilitating interaction and collaboration between researchers at all career stages. It encourages research and education in the field of analysis. The program of SEAM includes plenary talks by six selected participants and 20-minute contributed talks open to all participants as well as professional development activities such as problem sessions for early career researchers. This format fosters collegiality and a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of ideas, networking, and the formation and development of collaborations.

Historically, the topics of the main lectures have reflected the major current developments in analysis, emphasizing the meeting’s traditional themes. This SEAM will feature six plenary talks on subjects such as geometric function theory, harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, and the analysis of the Schrődinger equation, convex geometry and optimal control, operator theory and operator algebras, and multi-dimensional complex analysis.
