Full Description
The workshop participants will discuss the current status and future research directions of two broad areas of research: Security, privacy, and trust in System/Platform/Infrastructure; AI/ML enabled security and privacy. It offers a valuable and fruitful opportunity for researchers involved in these programs to learn about each other’s research directions. The workshop will provide an opportunity for US and Japanese researchers in cyber security areas to exchange research ideas and explore teaming up opportunities.
The workshop proposal seeks support to cover the travel expenses for invited participants from U.S. institutions to attend the proposed workshop in 2025. By enabling in-person exchanges among leading researchers, the workshop aims to foster impactful collaborations in cybersecurity research.
This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
