Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 06/04/2026 Business Based Action, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Three years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work which has provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices. In addition, applicant must have 2 1/2 years specialized experience such as: Experience in the operation and management of Services activities; extensive training and/or experience in all phases of business resale and funds management; skill in gathering, interpreting, and evaluating data; knowledge of retail sales, purchasing, inventory control, marketing/ advertising, facility layout and design. Must have knowledge of a wide range of principles, concepts, methods in planning, implementing, and managing a community recreational and leisure program. Must have working knowledge of accounting procedures. Knowledge of APF/NAF budget processes is desirable. Supervisory experience desired. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Must provide a copy of driving record. This is a drug testing designated position (TDP). The incumbent must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and is subject to random testing for drug use. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 (National Agency Check with Inquires) background investigation. Incumbent must be able to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
